About Our Facility
Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53‑bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, award‑winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities Coordinates the safe delivery of appropriate and effective respiratory treatment to critical and non‑critical patients in accordance with current standards of practice, physician’s orders, staffing levels, and organizational policies. Adheres to policy, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy program (or related experience may be substituted).
Current NM Respiratory Care License.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
One (1) year of related experience.
AARC Membership.
National Specialty Certification.
PALS, NRP, or ACLS may be required by the facility/department.
