Practice Manager – Apollo Veterinary – Wimberley Wimberley, TX | Full-Time | Open-Concept, Independent General Practice
Be the heart of a practice where leadership meets impact.
Apollo Veterinary is a local, independent general practice — and we’re growing. We’re looking for a passionate, driven Practice Manager to lead our Wimberley location with clarity, compassion, and confidence. If you're energized by people leadership, proactive culture-building, and making veterinary medicine better for teams and clients alike — this is your place.
Who We Are Apollo Vet is not your average clinic. We’re a modern, open-concept veterinary practice that believes in transparency, connection, and high‑quality medicine that feels personal. As an independent practice, we make our own rules, care deeply about our people, and are building something meaningful and lasting in the South Austin community.
We Pride Ourselves On
Open communication (literally and culturally)

Exceptional patient care without ego
Building a workplace where people want to stay, grow, and lead
About The Role The Practice Manager is the cultural and operational anchor of the Wimberley location. You Will
Mentor and grow your team through structured feedback and coaching
Build and own onboarding, training, and development systems
Set the tone for communication and collaboration
Create clarity around expectations, culture, and standards
Solve problems with initiative, not permission
Lead with both heart and backbone
You’ll Need To Thrive At Apollo Vet
Proactive Leadership: You don’t wait to be told — you see what’s needed and make it happen
Servant Leadership: You lift others, lead by example, and earn trust through action
Emotional Intelligence: You stay self‑aware and adjust your delivery, tone, and timing as needed
Professional Presence: You show up polished, focused, and engaged — even under stress

People Development: You know how to build a training plan and help people level up
Conflict & Communication Mastery: You handle difficult conversations without avoidance or sugarcoating
Cultural Stewardship: You protect and nurture the values and energy of your team
Time & Task Management: You know what’s worth your time — and what’s better delegated
Delegation & Accountability: You create clarity, hold others to it, and don’t hoard tasks out of habit
Mindset That Matters
Growth‑Oriented: You’re coachable and you coach others
Solution‑Focused: You bring ideas, not just problems
Ownership Mentality: You treat the clinic like it’s yours
Team‑First: You understand that success is collective
Direct and Empathetic: You say what needs to be said — and say it well

Mentorship from senior ops and founding leadership
A values‑driven workplace where your leadership actually matters

Are excited by the idea of helping build something from the inside out
