Location: Watermere at Firewheel, a luxury independent senior living community in Garland, TX.
Pay: Daily paid with ZayZoon, giving you quick access to up to 50% of your earned wages.
About the Role We are looking for a Manager in Training to join our growing team! This position will train and work within our Independent Senior Living communities across DFW, starting at Watermere at Firewheel, one of our new communities in Garland.
Our company is always looking to grow and develop our talent from within, and this position is a great way to learn what it takes to be a leader in the Senior Living industry.
Ideal Candidate
Interested in a long‑term career within the Senior Living industry.
Hungry to learn about all aspects of operating a senior living community.
Servant‑minded with compassion, empathy, and a desire to serve.
Not afraid to get their hands dirty – exposed to all operations and sales positions.
Training Objectives
Learn the management of each department to ensure operations run within guidelines, budgets, and standards.
Participate in daily stand‑up meetings.
Handle Human Resources and Payroll functions including new hire paperwork and time‑card adjustments.
Interact with residents and families, acknowledge concerns, and solve problems related to business office matters.
Work closely with Sales to develop and review marketing plans, meet sales goals, and stay aware of move‑ins and move‑outs.
Review accounts receivable and participate in collection efforts, including phone calls and correspondence to residents.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer proficiency; Excel knowledge preferred.
Desire to grow and learn.
Willing to relocate within Texas.
