Salas O’Brien, Inc.
The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $110,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive U.S. based benefits package, including:

Our office in San Diego is looking fora MechanicalEngineer toworkin a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment with primary responsibility to engineer and design projectsfor healthcare, institutional and industrial clients.
General Duties
Develop HVAC system designs of a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs
Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems for a variety of market types
Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing HVAC systems
Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
Complete code compliance research
Coordinate work with other disciplines
Provide construction administration services
Skills
Proficiency in using engineering tools and software including Autodesk software (Revit, Navisworks)
Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2-5 years experience in Mechanical Engineering.
Registration as EIT or PE preferred.
Location San Diego, CA (on-site preferred, hybrid for the right candidate)
Travel Up to 25%
