Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
Responsible for the washing, drying, folding,ironingand storing of linens for the laundry.
Adhere toestablisheddepartment and property policies and proceduresregardingguest service standards.
Sort, wash, dry, fold,ironand store linens according to established procedures.
Perform routine maintenance on the laundry equipment; includes cleaning dryer traps and greasing flat ironer.
Maintain production levels according to level of room occupancy.
Assistvendors who, as part of their service, perform inspections and tests of cleaning agents and operations.
Handle cleaning products in a safe manner.
Maintains daily worksheets.
Must be willing to work any shift.
Count & process reclaimed items.
Weigh & count all received linen.
Keepaccuratecounts of delivered and received linen counts from all receiving departments.
This is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
Requirements
No formal education required.
One year experience as a washer/folder/sorter is helpful.
Knowledge of operating laundry equipment a plus.
