Phlebotomist III Float
Location: Collinsville, IL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with rotational weekends (hours vary depending on site).
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
Pay Pay range: $21.24 – $24.44 / hour. Salary offers are based on skills, training, experience, education, certifications, and organizational factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance‑bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomist duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate
Collect quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams, etc.)
Enter billing information and collect payment when required
Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as a resource advisor for new employees; be the point of contact to staff on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor
Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed
Qualifications Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
Work Experience
Five years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Minimum three years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
Keyboard/data entry experience
The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
