Overview

Responsibilities Provide efficient, quality‑oriented patient care within the scope of the department’s policy and procedure manual. Perform support activities such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, and setup and operation of respiratory care equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
Additional Qualifications
One year of critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred.
Professional image and strong communication skills.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
Proficient with computer and software applications used in job functions.
Abstention from illegal drug or alcohol use in the workplace.
Certificates, Licensures, Registrations Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment is required. Documented proof of obtained degrees for regulatory compliance purposes. Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor is required.
Vaccination Requirement Per Federal Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 or be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption. Unvaccinated employees on approved exemption must submit to weekly COVID‑19 testing and wear a respirator at all times while in the facility.
