Job Summary
As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN) at HCA HealthONE Swedish, you’ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled multidisciplinary team that’s deeply committed to this unique population, you’ll restore comfort and healing—caring for patients like family and improving lives every day.
Responsibilities
Assess patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey.
Perform expert procedures and medication administration—including pain relief and fluid therapy—delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses, and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort.
Educate and support patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions.
Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient‑centered care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Qualifications
RN acute hospital ICU or Stepdown/PCU/Telemetry experience.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications.
RN licensure in Colorado or a multistate license.
Registered Nurse Diploma or equivalent.
