Pay Range:
$44K-$62K
Job Summary Manage and control the levels of inventory in the assembly plants, reducing the cost to carry inventory and meet the demand requirements.
Responsibilities
Help calculate material requirements needed to support production and generate purchase orders or contract releases in accordance with pricing, delivery and quality specifications as enumerated in national agreements.
Generate orders releasing refined raw materials to support plant production levels and input required purchase order data into B2B database.
Perform daily cycle counts to monitor and control inventory days‑on‑hand and order accuracy to enable accurate calculation of future supply schedule requirements.
Help track schedules for material supplies within production plans for receiving and maintain inventory level objectives.
Place orders on non‑national contract purchases as required by plant needs and input required purchase orders.
Work with accounts payable to resolve discrepancies in receipts/invoices.
Reschedule material as necessary to meet production plans and/or needs while expediting all open purchase orders and/or contract releases.
Obtain MSDS records when ordering new materials and supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
