Program Description The 10‑week in‑person Summer Analyst Program offers extensive exposure across the firm, mentorship, technical and soft‑skill training, and networking opportunities.
BXCI Structuring The Structuring team is responsible for creating rated investment vehicles, developing new investment structures, leading novel investment design and execution, liaising with fundraising teams, and preparing models and presentations. Summer Analysts will work closely with all OCIO functions, origination teams and the broader BXCI platform.
Key Responsibilities
Asset / portfolio due diligence
Cash flow modeling
Preparation of Investment Committee materials
Preparation of marketing materials (e.g., fundraising, financing proposals)
Review and drafting of legal documentation
Management of ratings process
Develop and maintain portfolio management and monitoring tools
BXCI Asset Allocation The Asset Allocation team delivers Blackstone’s investment management expertise to insurers and multi‑asset credit clients.
Responsibilities
Support portfolio management team on portfolio construction and asset allocation
Generate reports to track market conditions for tactical asset allocation discussions
Produce materials for investment portfolio reviews
Perform ad‑hoc portfolio analysis for insurance clients including M&A activity
Collaborate to develop bespoke investment solutions across fixed income and alternative products
Construct detailed financial models and valuation analyses
Conduct insurance industry research and analysis
Capital Formation & Capital Markets The Summer Analyst works with the capital formation team on liability origination, including CLOs, BDC bond issuances, secured debt structures, etc.
Responsibilities
Participate in debt financings and structuring, drafting proposals, committee materials, and portfolio analytics
Conduct financial analysis for potential investment opportunities, market benchmarking, fund economics, and investment strategy
Assist through all transaction phases from outreach to execution
Prepare ad‑hoc materials for senior management and investment committee review
Monitor performance of existing financing/structured vehicles and provide updates
Use financial models to project future liability needs based on scenarios
Manage rating agency partnerships and internal stakeholder communication
Conduct market research and competitor analysis on BDCs, closed‑end funds, CLOs and credit markets
Prepare quarterly reporting packages for external use
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
Strong analytical skills
Desire to work in a team environment with dynamic roles

Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good professional judgement and collegial attitude
Eligibility Criteria
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2027 – Spring 2028

Expected annual base salary range: $110,000 - $110,000. Actual base salary will be determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Complementary compensation and benefits are not included.
