Job Summary The Department of F. Joseph Halcomb III, M.D. Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Kentucky invites applications for the position of Lecturer. This is a non‑tenure-eligible 9‑month faculty position in the Lecturer Title Series. Typical teaching loads for this position will be three courses per semester. Additional duties will be oriented primarily towards undergraduate instruction in the biomedical engineering department and may include providing support for instructional laboratories in the department. The position will be available beginning August 2025.

Responsibilities Teach undergraduate courses (three courses per semester). Provide support for instructional laboratories. Engage in undergraduate education activities. Assist departmental projects as needed.

Qualifications Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering (or a closely related field). Strong written and oral communication skills. Commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. Industrial experience encouraged but not required.
