Job Description
Responsible for analyzing and maintaining patient health information to deliver it to the authorized users in a timely, accurate and complete manner. Facilitates the delivery of health care with a provide-a-service-first attitude.
Principal Accountabilities
Managing the front area by answering phone calls, welcoming customers, and providing records to clients. It is essential to be friendly and capable of multitasking.
Processes and analyzes medical record information for compliance with standards, rules, and regulations related to patient information.
Audits charts for accuracy, ensuring that all regulations are met with the document under review.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Great customer service skills.
6+ months of experience in Health information Management or administrative area.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
Associate's Degree in Health information Management or relevant area.
