Now Hiring: Field Systems Analyst II
Location: KAMO Power Facility – Spokane, MO.
KAMO Power is seeking a Field Systems Analyst II to join our team in Spokane MO. This position is responsible for the troubleshooting, installation, testing, and repair of a wide range of complex telecommunications and computer systems, including fiber optics, two-way radio systems, microwave systems, SCADA, and more.
With a focus on both field work and technical systems, the ideal candidate will bring strong experience in telecommunications transmission technologies and electronic theory. The role includes both underground and aerial fiber construction, equipment installation at Point-of-Presence (POP) sites, and maintenance on various systems and technologies across KAMO’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair telecommunications and computer equipment
Install and maintain fiber optics, analog/digital microwave systems, two-way radio, SCADA, MAS radio, and related systems
Perform underground and aerial fiber installations on distribution line structures
Splice and terminate OPGW and ADSS fiber cables
Maintain POP buildings, cabinets, and tower installations
Ensure work aligns with NESC standards and technical specifications
Qualifications
Associate Degree in High Voltage Line Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline from an accredited trade school or university
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience; equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Knowledge of NESC standards, fiber optics and microwave systems, Ethernet/IP network structure, TDM multiplexing, and AC/DC power systems
