Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant (CPA, EA, or CPA Candidate) who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence. This role focuses on high-quality tax preparation, planning, and advisory work with opportunities for professional growth. Key Responsibilities Preparation and review of individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1120, 1065, 1041) Administrative and accounting support for small businesses Washington B&O tax preparation Preparation of federal and Washington estate tax returns (experience not required - will teach) Research of technical tax issues Potential Client communication and relationship management Compensation & Benefits $80,000-$100,000 salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonuses Medical coverage 401(k) Profit Sharing 20 days PTO for full-time employees Paid professional memberships Ongoing CPE and training Free on-site parking Located in downtown Kirkland near restaurants and essential services Qualifications CPA, EA, or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam (strongly preferred) Minimum 2 years of recent CPA firm tax experience (3+ preferred) Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and tax research platforms Experience with tax preparation software required; Lacerte experience a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Self starter / Quick learner How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter (PDF preferred).
