Executive Assistant
This position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence in Renton, WA approximately 2 days per week.

Job Description
The Executive Assistant at Risant Health provides high-level administrative support to executive leaders, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective coordination across departments. This role manages complex scheduling, travel, communications, and logistics while also supporting key projects, board activities, and confidential matters. With strong organizational and communication skills, the Executive Assistant plays a vital role in driving efficiency and collaboration in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Job Responsibilities
Executive Support Provides high-level administrative support to Risant Health executive leaders, including managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and handling confidential communications. Ensures smooth day-to-day operations and serves as a key liaison between executives, internal teams, and external partners.
Operations & Logistics Oversees office logistics such as facilities, supplies, and technology support. Manages travel arrangements and expense reporting, and supports onboarding and personnel transitions. Coordinates large meetings and events, ensuring all logistics, materials, and follow-ups are handled efficiently.
Project & Program Support Assists with tracking and reporting on projects and programs to support cross-functional collaboration. Manages departmental tools such as Microsoft Teams and document archives, and helps prepare polished presentation materials and reports.
Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination Supports leadership-related activities including scheduling, logistics, and document management. Maintains confidentiality and facilitates communication between board members and leadership.
Additional Responsibilities Provides subject matter expertise on administrative processes, serves as backup for other administrative staff, and supports special projects and events as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Operations, or a related field (flexible).
- OR four (4) additional years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years providing executive-level support and professional office management requiring direct interaction with executive leadership.
Technical and Interpersonal Competencies
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in calendar management tools, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, with a strong understanding of video conferencing etiquette.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Organization & Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion & Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to anticipate needs and proactively address challenges.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across teams and departments, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and correspondence.
- Adaptability: Comfortable managing competing priorities and shifting demands with composure and flexibility.

Technical Competencies
Project & Task Management: Familiarity with project management tools and techniques, including tracking progress, coordinating resources, and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
Other Preferred Background
- Start-Up Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment, ideally within healthcare, with a focus on building and streamlining administrative processes and infrastructure from the ground up.
- Executive & Corporate Support: Demonstrated success in a similar role supporting senior leaders in a corporate or executive setting, with professionalism, discretion, and adaptability.
Additional Information
Compensation and Benefits: The projected base salary for this position ranges from $81,667 - $107,800 depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including wellness programs, retirement savings, and relocation support as applicable.
