Job Summary
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to support design of a new nuclear facility. Candidate will be performing the following: Design structural systems GT Strudl, STAAD Pro and FEA (finite element analysis) programs experience is desired Concrete structures design experience of a nuclear infrastructure project is desired Fuel Fabrication design experience preferred Must be highly knowledgeable and proficient in material designs such as steel, masonry, concrete, cold formed metal design. Requires ability to work with AISC, ACI, AWS, ASD, ANSI, and other codes and standards applicable to nuclear facility designs. Qualifications
B.S. degree in Civil engineering or similar engineering degree is required Minimum of 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience is required. PE License preferred (but not required) Must have experience working with nuclear facilities. Must have knowledge of project engineering activities Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance UF6 or centrifuge facility design experience highly desired
