Starting hourly rate: $19.00 USD per hour.

ALL ABOUT ON‑DEMAND As an On‑Demand Team Member (TM) you can work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. You will create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You are expected to pick up and work shifts at least once every four weeks (minimum of four hours). If you do not respond to our attempts to contact you, or if you do not work at least one shift within five months, your employment may be terminated. When offered a position you will attend a Welcome orientation and complete a short‑term structured training schedule before you can begin picking up shifts.
ALL ABOUT SMALL FORMATS In our smallest format stores you ensure product is in stock, accurately priced, and presented on the sales floor. Responsibilities include cashiering, stocking, presentation, and price accuracy, as well as providing exceptional guest service and anticipating guest needs.
QUESTIONS & QUALIFICATIONS
Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest‑first culture.
Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management, and process efficiency.
Support daily/weekly workload to meet business priorities and sales goals.
Create a welcoming experience with guests while completing tasks.
Assist guests in a welcoming way, solving specific needs and thanking them for choosing Target.
Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to improve guest experience.
Work in all departments to keep the sales floor full, zoned, and stocked for guests.
Assist with truck unload, stock product to the sales floor, and execute adjacency changes and transitions.
Conduct weekly price change workloads and ensure accurate promotional signing.
Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
Support major transitions and maintain interior and exterior brand standards, including garbage, restroom cleanliness, and cart management.
Accurately execute all pulls and backstock product from all departments.
Process inbound deliveries using the receive application.
Complete all backroom weekly audits and maintain organization and location accuracy.
Operate power equipment only if certified.
Follow processes accurately, prioritize tasks, and maintain safety and compliance.
Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU), and Drive‑up (DU) while adhering to beverage laws.
All other duties as requested based on business needs.

Accurately handle cash register operations.
Safe use of ladders and ability to lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds, and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
Flexible work schedule, reliable and prompt attendance, and active engagement in picking up shifts.
Ability to work exposed to varying temperatures and humidity while performing duties such as Drive‑Up and carry‑out.
Comfortable staying mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
