Job Details Compensation:
Base pay range $14 per hour plus tips $4-$8 per hour. Tips may bring total pay $18-$22 per hour.
Work Schedule:
Overnight shift – 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.

Summary The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests, including parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and delivering efficient service.
Essential Functions (Percent of Time)
Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co‑workers and clients (25%).
Use a salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location; use proper phone etiquette; remain present when not completing tasks (10%).
Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists with bell services and luggage storage as needed; opens vehicle and hotel doors for guests (20%).
Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries; provides information about facilities and attractions; shuttles guests to approved locations (10%).
Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks; completes and maintains all ticket information; calculates and collects revenue when needed (35%).
Qualifications Education
High school diploma or GED.
Licensure, Certification
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
Work Experience
One month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Skills
Ability to read and write standard English.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
Ability to add and subtract three‑digit numbers and perform basic arithmetic with American currency.
Understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems.
Understanding of rates applicable to time passed.
Manual transmission operation is highly desirable.
Perform parallel parking.
SCOPE Authority to Act:
Job is routine; follows established practices; decisions within guidelines.
Budget Responsibility:
Control over resources available only.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work performed outdoors for extended periods; exposure to extreme heat and cold; may need to run, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
Speech and hearing required; frequent sitting or standing; lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, 20 lbs constantly.
Travel up to 5% may be required.
