Part-Time Individual Support Worker

Day in the Life
Assist behavioral therapists in creating effective behavior therapy programs for children and adolescents.
Implement individualized service plans and provide behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
Manage youth with behavioral challenges, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Develop and initiate safety standards while instructing youth on positive behavioral practices.
Monitor and document observations of youth behavior to adjust daily activities aligned with therapeutic goals.
Create and implement engaging recreational activities that support emotional and social growth.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of three years of supervised experience in implementing positive behavior support plans and teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families, and professionals.
Ability to work independently while following established protocols and guidelines.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children and adolescents.
Prior experience in behavioral interventions and a commitment to ongoing professional development (highly valued).
