Responsibilities
Assist customers with questions and recommendations
Process sales transactions at assigned cash register
Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
Keep the store well‑stocked and recover merchandise
Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required
Must be able to lift 30‑50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
Strong organizational and communication skills required
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required
