We are seeking a
Hand Repair Operator
whose primary duties include performing precise manual repairs and rework on electronic assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and components.
Position:
Full-time – 5/8 schedule (7:00A-3:30P) – In Person Only
Location:
Quintech Electronics and Evertz USA headquarters, Indiana, PA
Additional Duties:
Perform hand soldering and rework of through-hole and surface-mount components.
Identify and repair manufacturing defects, including solder bridges, open circuits, and component misplacement.
Inspect and verify assemblies for quality and conformance to specifications.
Utilize magnification tools, microscopes, and other inspection equipment.
Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and drawings.
Maintain accurate documentation of repair and rework activities.
Adhere to company quality standards, ESD handling procedures, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
Assist in process improvements and continuous quality initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
High school Diploma or GED.
Experience with soldering, de-soldering, and inspection process in compliance with IPC standards.
Strong attention to detail and technical dexterity.
2+ years of experience in hand repair, rework, or assembly within an electronics manufacturing environment.
Be results oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
Hours of work: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday.
