HOURLY PRODUCTION FULL‑TIME
JBS is seeking an hourly Production Team Member. Position starts at $21.60 per hour with the ability to go up to $27.60 per hour plus $1 per hour shift differential between 6 pm‑6 am.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work in an area where livestock is being killed
Work regularly in temperatures near or below freezing (coolers, loading dock freezer)
Work in areas with unpleasant odors
Work in damp or cold conditions (20‑30 °F fabrication)
Work in extreme heat (up to 104 °F in the kill floor)
Work in areas that require lifting, pulling, or pushing 50 lbs
Use sharp knives or a cutting tool
Willing and capable of working overtime (heavy season: August‑February)
Available to work day and night
Willing and capable of working Saturdays
Work in or around bloody areas in a fast‑paced environment, performing repetitive hand movements and body movements; physical demands may take 5‑6 weeks to fully adjust
Neutral wrist—repetitive hand motions and grasping
Reaching—for products on the conveyor belt with hooks, or reaching for boxes/bags
Standing—constant standing for 8‑10 hours per day, 6 days a week (loading dock 7 days as needed)
Heavy work—exerting 51‑100 lbs occasionally, 26‑50 lbs frequently, 11‑20 lbs constantly to move objects (exceeds medium work)
Very heavy work—exerting over 100 lbs occasionally, over 50 lbs frequently, over 20 lbs constantly (exceeds heavy work)
Expectations—report to work every day at scheduled start time, follow all company policies, procedures, supervisors and managers’ instructions; work with others and get along; strive for best performance and desire to learn and grow
Qualifications
Requires ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lb
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Additional qualifications as needed
Work Environment The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
