Join DCI today to build relationships and gain fulfillment serving individuals in our comfortable clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers./ppThe unit secretary provides administrative support to the clinic staff, greets and assists patients with their appointments, and ensures the patients charts are in order in accordance with Medicare and company policies and procedures./ppSchedule: 30 hours/week; Sundays off; no overnight shifts/ppCompensation: Pay range from $14.00-$18.81 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience/ppBenefits:/pulliComprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits/liliLife and long-term disability insurance provided at no additional expense to employee/liliPaid time off (PTO) including holidays/liliExtended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO paid time for doctor appointments, sickness or medical leave/liliRetirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent/liliEducation reimbursement/liliEmployee assistance program/liliWellness program/liliAmong others/li/ulpResponsibilities:/ppWhat You Can Expect:/pulliEnters treatment information into the MIS./liliInitiates, maintains, and completes the medical record./liliAssists in other data related needs which may include entering episodes of care, responding to requests for data from the Network or DCI request./liliPrepares meeting agendas and minutes as requested./liliMaintains accurate treatment statistics, including treatment dates, hospital dates, no-show information, and information on absences./liliProvides reports to the nurse manager or area operations director./liliMay perform duties of receptionist including sorting and distributing mail, answering and routing phone calls, greeting and directing visitors, and other clerical duties./liliWorks with integrity; upholds organizational goals and values./liliReacts appropriately under pressure; accepts responsibility for own actions./liliUses equipment and materials properly; adapts to changes in the work environment./liliDemonstrates attention to detail with accuracy and thoroughness./li/ulpQualifications:/ppSuccessful Candidates Bring:/pulliExcellent communication skills/liliDemonstrated clinical excellence/liliDesire to collaborate with care teams/liliAbility to problem solve/li/ulpEducation/Training:/ppHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
