Transitional Care Unit (TCU)/ICU Step-Down Unit
The Transitional Care Unit is a 20-bed department consisting of a multidisciplinary team of nurses, nurse technicians, and ancillary staff. TCU serves Freeman and our community through caring for patients that are transitioning from ICU to Med-Surge level of care. We serve a vast range of patient populations, from cardiac complications, respiratory distress, diabetes management, and many more. Under the direction of the nurse, performs clerical and receptionist duties associated with unit operations.
Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
Experience in a medical office setting.
