This position works out of our Minnetonka, MN location, supporting our Electrophysiology Medical Device Division. In Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) business, we're advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. This leader is responsible for providing financial support and counsel to divisional senior finance and executive management in the following specific activities: financial planning and analysis, standard cost setting, management financial reporting, internal controls and asset management. Comprehensively oversee, direct and coordinate all aspects of the global Division's Financial Planning processes aligned with Abbott Corporate and Electrophysiology business requirements. What You'll Work On Prepare Plan, Latest Best Estimate (LBE) and Monthly reporting for the Electrophysiology Operations and Supply chain group that meet timing and quality of presentations requirements, facilitating management review and decision making while ensuring integrity of the data and compliance with GAAP as well as Abbott operating policies. Lead the yearly allocation process for Operations support spending, this entails working cross Business units to ensure proper approval and review of allocations. Prepare various management presentations, relevant data, financial analyses, special projects and related consultation to senior divisional management in planning and achieving short and long term financial objectives. Review annual Standard setting for the Operations Manufacturing Plants in Plymouth to ensure consistency and compliance with Abbott operating policies Monitor Balance sheet accounts Ops to ensure proper levels of accruals based on Abbott operating policies. Develop system solutions and process improvement that meet Planning and Reporting requirements Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of financial professionals to ensure financial planning and analysis projects are conducted credibly and that recommendations and reports are accurate and timely. Recruit, retain and mentor finance team members. Ensure finance team members have the appropriate training, coaching and rotational opportunities to develop broad based financial management professionals to support business needs. Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field 10+ years leadership experience in finance Cost Accounting Experience Consolidation Experience Team management Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred. The base pay for this position is $97,300.00
