Primarily responsible for scanning hardcopy files to electronic images. Our client is a global company that provides solutions for records management, data backup and recovery, document management, secure shredding, and data centers. It services clients like Boeing, the FBI, Amazon, and Microsoft. Responsibilities
Load sheets into one of the various types of scanners for processing and return sheets to the box in the same order as received. Depending on the source material, sheets may be fed into scanners one at a time or in small batches. This is primarily a seated task, but feeding scanners may be done while standing, 20% of the time. Confirms the accuracy of scanned documents. This is primarily a seated task, making up 10% of the position. Scanning: Detail-oriented, must be able to operate, clean, and troubleshoot scanners. Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning (document preparation) Scan hardcopy files to electronic images. Assuring quality image follows production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking. Skills
Ability to type 100 WPM. Position requires significant data input and a high rate of keystrokes. Ability to translate critical information for input into the database software. Familiarity with computers and typing skills. The ability to remove staples, sort, file, and box re. Must be able to pass drug testing and background checking.
