Position Summary

:

Reporting to the Director of Digital Communications, working closely with the Creative Design Manager, the Creative Operations Manager brings strong communication, leadership and workflow optimization skills, ensuring the delivery of exceptional creative projects-on time and on brand. They will manage the daily operations of the design team, including oversight of creative designers, while guiding the team, refining processes, and driving high-quality results.

Duties & Responsibilities: Manage project intake, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure smooth execution Oversee daily studio workflow, including file management and organizational systems Coordinate and traffic projects across multiple departments to maintain efficiency Review design work and provide constructive feedback to junior designers Train, mentor, and support the professional growth of junior team members Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and meets delivery deadlines

Qualifications: 4-6 years of experience in design operations, creative production, or related fields Strong foundation in graphic design, with a keen eye for detail and visual consistency Proven experience in project management, including planning, tracking, and resource coordination Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments while managing multiple priorities Adept at using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and project management platforms

Education:

College degree preferred preferably in graphic design, fine arts, print production or comparable field

Experience:

4-6 years of experience in in the Marketing department of a law firm, large corporation/organization, advertising agency, or medium/large design firm. Management experience a plus.

Skills & Abilities: Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma for high-quality design execution Skilled in timeline and resource planning to support efficient, on-time project delivery Experience providing art direction and creative guidance to design teams Strong cross-functional communication skills, collaborating effectively with teams across department Working knowledge of video production and digital content workflows

The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

New York Salary Range

$120,000-$140,000 USD
