The Opportunity We are actively looking to add a Driver to our team. The primary objective for the Driver is providing safe, courteous, and on schedule transportation to our residents and their families. The Driver represents the organization by being visible throughout the community. Residents are to be treated with respect, courtesy, and graciousness at all times. The Driver is expected to foster the best possible relations with volunteers, actual and potential residents, agency donors and community sponsors. What You'll Do
Execute Driving the company vehicle (car or bus) to Resident Activities. Assisting residents in and out of vehicle. Inspecting the company vehicle before and after trips. Communicate any vehicle maintenance needs. Perform light office duties, including, but not limited to, answering incoming calls or in person inquiries to setup Resident's travel. Complete all reports as requested by the Executive Director. What You'll Bring
Experience & Education High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with B class with passenger endorsement required. Must have 5 years minimum experience. Strong customer service skills are a must! Experience working with seniors is a plus. Location Information The Court at Palm Aire is a beautiful community in Pompano Beach, FL, with more than 230 units offering independent living and assisted living.
