Accounting Manager Responsibilities: Manage a team of two accountants Responsible for working collaboratively with members of different departments to provide timely financial analysis to aid in strategic business decision Primary responsibilities include month-end close duties such as journal entries and account reconciliations Provide financial support and be a business partner to commercial and operations functions Performs month-end closing procedures and reporting, including fixed assets, inventory, and ad hoc analysis Report on key business metrics Lead assigned projects focusing on continuous improvement Effectively communicates and coordinates the exchange of financial information to key stakeholders MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience Manufacturing industry or relevant industry Cost experience Management experience Strong verbal and written communication Understanding and application of accounting principles/practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) Strong business partnering and communication skills Working knowledge of ERP systems What's On Offer
