Job Duties And Responsibilities
Maximize room revenue, profit and market share by leading a team of Vice Presidents and Regional Directors of Revenue Management for a portfolio of branded full service and select service hotels Train, cultivate and guide the team to successfully manage the processes associated with demand, revenue, forecasting, opportunity analysis, and inventory management. Review and communicate internally and externally portfolio and sub-portfolio forecast, pace and trends Review portfolio weekly to identify focus hotels and participate in/refine focus hotel program Ownership of annual budget process Participate in market analysis and work with development team on potential acquisitions Support digital efforts for existing and conversion hotels via digital marketing platforms, partnering with marketing team and brands. Stay up to speed with new brand initiatives, distribution partnerships, and industry trends Embrace and creatively use AI to create efficiencies for the team and gain a competitive edge Ensure that a strategic mix of business and pricing strategies are set for each hotel based on market conditions to maximize revenue and profitability. Continually train and develop Hotel/Regional Directors of Revenue Management to perform at a higher level. Identify future market trends and hotel opportunities by segment, channel and DOW Define and assist in execution of action plan if planned financial targets are not met. Evaluate displacements and contracts for large pieces of business Continuous analysis of competitive sets, pricing positions, market conditions, seasonality and mix. Ensure proper utilization of Business intelligence tools and all brand resources within the RM discipline (One Yield, MRDW, HPP, CI/TY, GRO and R&I, PRO) Plan effectively within the revenue management function and integrate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations. Participate in critical Revenue Management meetings and month end reviews Collaborate with key business partners to define annual promotion calendar and identify promotional key success indicators, as well as plan targets for next year. Drive revenue through promotions and placement with distribution partners. Manage property participation and production through relevant Internet sites and other distribution channels. Ensure compliance with brand standards as well as SHG standards and procedures. Education And Experience
Bachelor's in Hotel Management, Business and/or related degree preferred Executive leadership experience in Revenue Management discipline required Revenue management experience with branded hotels required Experience with all industry standard tools (Amadeus, Kalibri, CoStar, Lighthouse, extranets, Koddi, Brainlabs, brand ecosystems, etc.) Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Exceptional service and customer relations skills with ability to foster effective relationships with staff, management and clientele Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate ideas and concepts Highly proficient in computers including, but not limited to Internet, Microsoft Office programs and hotels sales related programs Strong facilitation and presentation skills *The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
