Welder - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is seeking a TIG welder for a project in Central Islip, NY. Responsibilities: Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other specialty metals. Inspect and prepare pipe for welding. Execute repairs on existing piping systems. Read and interpret isometrics, blueprints, and weld systems. Ensure welds meet quality and code requirements. Work safely. Collaborate with others to complete project on schedule. Maintain welding equipment and consumables. Familiarity with ASME codes and standards. Pay rate is $36 per hour. Per diem: $100/day for all 7 days if the full schedule is worked. Schedule: Mon - Sun, 70h/week. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience Welder test Current welding certifications Experience in food $ beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical process industries OSHA 10/30 Certification Trillium Construction Services has been recruiting and hiring construction and skilled trades talent for over 30 years.
