Licensed Master Social Workers serves as a member of interdisciplinary treatment teams applying professional social work theory, principles, and methods to assess, evaluate, formulate and implement a plan of action based on individual needs and strengths and intervene to address mental, social, emotional, behavioral, developmental and addictive disorders, conditions and disabilities, and psychosocial aspects of illness and injury. An LMSW2 may also be required to supervise and train subordinate staff. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a license and current registration as a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State. Preferred Qualifications: Social Work experience in a nursing home setting. Additional Comments Position is eligible for a $4000.00 downstate adjustment. The filling of this position is pending division of budget approval. This position is part of the NYS HELPS program. No examination is required.
