Head and Neck Surgery program specializing in complex Otology and Neurotology. This clinical audiology role primarily involves adult patients with complex hearing, ear, and balance disorders. You will perform a broad range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services, including: Comprehensive audiological evaluations Cochlear implant evaluations Bone conduction implant evaluations and programming Hearing aid assessments, fittings, and follow-ups Vestibular testing (e.g., VEMP, VHIT) Job Description: Education: Graduate of an accredited audiology program. Certification & Licensure: AUDIO-Licensed Audiologist Typical Experience: 2 years recent relevant experience Skills and Knowledge: Administer hearing and related tests and examine patients to collect information on type and degree of impairment, using specialized instruments and electronic equipment Knowledge of audiology staffing, space, and equipment needs Interest in shaping audiology clinic flow and processes Working closely with ENT colleagues, including otology/neurotology Working primarily with adult patients Diagnosing and treating patients with complex ear disease Strong skills in diagnostic audiometry Working with adult cochlear implant and bone conduction implant patients Hearing aid fitting and follow up Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement Analytical thought and judgement to identify innovative solutions Job Shift: Days Schedule: Full Time Days of the Week: Monday - Friday Weekend Requirements: None Benefits: Yes Unions: No Position Status: Exempt Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Status: Regular Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
