CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson, North Dakota, is seeking a dynamic Director of Perioperative Services to join their team! Permanent | On-site The Position
The Director of Perioperative Services will manage the daily operations of a 15-bed OR unit within a Level IV Trauma Center. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 25 FTEs. This leader will evaluate the department to identify opportunities for improvement and growth, while also fostering a collaborative environment and revitalizing a positive team culture. Responsibilities include developing a system to monitor key performance metrics, managing capital projects, implementing a patient experience concierge program, and supporting the department's transition to the EPIC system. The ideal candidate will be a strong, visible leader with exceptional communication skills, capable of stabilizing the department. They should excel at mentoring and educating staff, require minimal supervision from higher management, and demonstrate a strong commitment to process improvement initiatives. Requirements
BSN required; Master's degree highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of perioperative nursing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership position. The Community
