BG Workforce is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead high-impact Department of Defense (DoD) manufacturing and maintenance initiatives in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting C-level leadership while driving mission-critical projects at military maintenance and production facilities. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in project management within the automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, or defense sectors, and a strong understanding of maintenance and manufacturing operations. Military experience or working alongside military personnel is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of assigned DoD-related projects from initiation to completion Apply formal project management methodologies to meet timelines, budgets, and deliverables Serve as a key liaison between BG Workforce and military or civilian stakeholders at multiple DoD facilities Communicate effectively with stakeholders from the shop floor to senior military leadership, demonstrating professionalism and integrity Provide regular updates to C-level executives and help drive strategic decision-making Build strong customer relationships and demonstrate leadership consistent with military cultural values Manage vendors, resources, and schedules to optimize quality and efficiency Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in project management, manufacturing, or defense-related environments Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field Qualifications or experience in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or other Project Management methodologies preferred Prior military experience or experience working within military environments is a strong plus Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance. TS/SCI eligibility is a strong plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to adapt to new software platforms U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to pass a military background check U.S. Passport preferred Must be located in or willing to relocate to Honolulu, HI Willingness to travel approximately 25%, primarily within the U.S.
