Machine Operator
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Machine Operator with a strong work ethic to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will support company operations and contribute to a pleasant work environment. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the ability to adapt and handle various tasks effectively. Schedule:
Night Shift: 7:00 PM to finish (8-10 hour shifts), with occasional Saturdays. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate a machine that mixes materials according to a pre-determined formula to make brick/block. Gather materials as specified by work order; weigh materials and record information on batch cards. Transfer specified materials into the machine for processing. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and handling equipment in performing duties. Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory. Follow all required work safe practices, including lock-out tag-out requirements and wearing all required PPE in designated areas. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Required for Success: Previous experience in a production environment. Knowledge of power/hand tools. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb, reach, grasp, bend at the waist, and twist at the waist frequently. Ability to frequently work in cramped, confined spaces. Ability to wear PPE (personal protection equipment)
