Maintenance Mechanic
The Maintenance Mechanic is a key member of our dynamic Maintenance team and is responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Essential responsibilities include conducting all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems. Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains processes at an industrial level. Builds, performs repairs, and/or does modifications to equipment and kind, and performs preventive maintenance on buildings, facilities, equipment, fixtures, processes, etc., at an industrial level. Performs work orders that comply with the maintenance schedule and addresses the plant needs. Supports predictive and preventative maintenance programs. Supports internal projects. Follows established programs, policies, and practices to produce quality materials output that meet product specifications and quality system requirements. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and follows the Safety Cardinal Rules. Performs other assignments as directed. Minimum requirements include a high school graduate or GED equivalent. Satisfactory completion of an apprenticeship program and/or several years as a journeyman industrial mechanic.
