Summary: Microsoft Fabric is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Program Manager Tech 1 to join our team. This role focuses on Apache Airflow, a key component of our data orchestration and workflow automation solutions. As a Program Manager, you will work closely with customers, create sample code and best practices, and contribute to the Apache Airflow open-source community. Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical guidance on using Apache Airflow within Microsoft Fabric. Sample Code and Best Practices: Develop and maintain sample code, best practices, and documentation to help customers effectively use Apache Airflow. Community Contribution: Actively contribute to the Apache Airflow open-source community by submitting code, participating in discussions, and sharing insights. Product Improvement: Gather feedback from customers and the community to identify areas for improvement and work with the engineering team to implement enhancements. Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful deployment and operation of Apache Airflow workflows. Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 0-2 years experience with Apache Airflow; Must have hands-on experience, including creating and managing Dags (Directed Acyclic Graphs). The number of years of experience is flexible, as long as the candidate has practical, hands-on experience. 2. Minimum 2 years experience with Python; must be comfortable coding 3. Minimum 2 years experience with Open Source Software (OSS) exposure Compelling Story & Candidate Value Proposition

Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) is a plus. They should be adaptable, able to work independently, and capable of building demos, testing features, and documenting best practices.
