This is a Pipeline Req, sample statement of work, and actual job responsibilities will be within one of our functional organizations. We may have multiple opportunities at various levels. LM's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is expanding its RF Engineering teams in multiple locations, including: Orlando, FL; Ocala, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Troy, AL; and Chelmsford, MA. Most of our RF Engineering positions do not offer teleworking / remote opportunities; although we enjoy the Flex 4/10 schedule with every Friday off. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM), prefer Electrical Engineering discipline; or equivalent combination of experience with education
Applicant must be eligible to obtain a minimum DoD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship Required)
Minimum of two years work experience in ANY of the following:
RF or Microwave design
Experience designing and testing RF circuits at the CCA level
RF simulation experience at the system level (i.e. SystemVue/AWR VSS), at the circuit level (ADS / Microwave Office), and at the full-wave level (CST / HFSS)
Experience troubleshooting RF, Microwave, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering designs to resolve integration issues
Experience with Schematic Review, RF Block Diagrams and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)
Expertise using microwave test equipment and microwave circuit simulation tools
Experience with Radar / RF Signal Process Engineering, including knowledge of RADAR concepts such as Detection, Estimation, and Tracking
Experience developing EMI/EMC requirements, requirement flow down to subsystems, E3 control plans, design for E3 requirements, and hardware allocation planning
E3 design experience, including experience in electromagnetic theory, modeling, and practical design support
Experience with conducting test events for MIL-STD-461 and/or MIL-STD-464
Experience with design and troubleshooting of RF Datalink Engineering
RF Communications architecture experience
Experience with RF test equipment and RF hardware verification
Experience in RF Subsystems Design and troubleshooting
Production support of RF systems and subsystems
Experience with Hybrid (Chip and Wire) assemblies
Experience with RF Receivers and Transmitters Modules
Experience with RF Test Equipment such as: Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters
Experience with Lab Equipment such as: Oscilloscope, Power Supplies
Knowledge of RF Components such as mixers, amplifiers, switches, VCO, Dividers, PLL, Attenuators, Low Noise Amplifiers
Experience with RF Cascaded Analysis
Experience with RF Simulation Models to include: CST, ADS, Genesys, System Vue, HFSS, Microwave Office
Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) tools to include: LabView or TestStand
Experience in high frequency RF testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting using an RF probe station
Experience in Low Observables: Stealth Engineer, Radar Cross Section (RCS), Signatures, Antennas, Radomes, or CEM

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235.
