JOB SUMMARY
This position will conduct reporting and analysis of ongoing operations in a manufacturing environment to quantify areas of success and opportunity. They will monitor the Work In Progress report, prepare reports using HP and Seagate, or other reporting programs, to gather job information to keep job log current.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for providing ongoing and ad hoc reporting to provide information and recommendations. Manage the Work in Progress (WIP) report to identify Hot Client orders, QS FEDs due out orders, communicates, and assists in coordinating work through production processes. 30% Performs detailed tracking and facilitation from reports. 20% Facilitates late orders through the facility. 15% Gathers information and works with Manufacturing Manager to approve production schedules. Keeps the job log up to date. 15% Researches and reports issues with jobs. 15% Performs other job duties as assigned. 5%
Qualifications
EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent required
EXPERIENCE Ability to work with minimum supervision and at a rapid pace is essential. Familiarity with mainframe and other relevant reporting systems a plus. Proven and effective leadership skills as well as demonstrated proficiency in providing requisite oversight for corporate facility operations worldwide. Superior communication skills to include both verbal and written mediums. Exceptional interpersonal skills as well as an ability to interface effectively with fellow employees, executives at the highest levels of the Corporation and external partner's clients and customers. Working knowledge of facility management tools and software. Demonstrated project management skills and experience. Experience in budget formulation and execution.
COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS
Communicates regularly with production employees, Team Leaders and Process Quality staff.
DECISION MAKING
Ability to make fact-based decisions with Plant leaders.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS Manufacturing environment. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear
Additional Information Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00 - $26.00 DOE Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM
