Responsibilities: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with ASC 740 Own income tax workpapers and disclosures for the US GAAP financial statement audit Communicate anticipated tax results to key stakeholders based on business operations and key drivers Participate in analysis of economic and tax impacts of various business opportunities Build relationship and partner with various tax, accounting and business team members to understand and optimize various business tax positions Provide leadership and development of analysts and senior analysts throughout the tax accounting organization Identify and drive waste elimination and transformation opportunities that will provide value within the tax accounting organization Own and collaborate on consolidated state tax accounting footprint, including but not limited to, state tax ETR, state attribute utilization and valuation allowance analysis, state cash tax positions Qualifications: Progressive career experience in corporate or state income taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting related roles Proficient understanding and application of ASC740 principles including but not limited to income tax provisions, effective tax rates, deferred tax balances, valuation allowances, etc. Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data from multiple systems and use advanced tools to perform analysis and develop a point of view Bachelor's degree or higher Foundational understanding of state income tax concepts including apportionment and state filing types Experience presenting financial concepts to various audiences to effectively engage stakeholders and partnering with others to bridge gaps and solve problems Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, or other data automation platforms At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
