Are you living your life's work? Position Summary: Prepares, portions, and serves food and beverages required for cafeteria service and catered activities. Collects money and maintains a pleasant environment in an area which is kept orderly, clean, and sanitary. Prepares miscellaneous food and beverage items in the prescribed manner and stores them properly. Portions food accurately and serves in an attractive manner. Maintains adequate supply of self-serve items properly displayed. Records items and volumes provided and returned from, catered events. Cashiers when functioning in the absence of a Cafeteria Worker II. Makes sure that cafeteria and dining room equipment are orderly, clean, and sanitary. Perform other duties as requested. Minimum Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent GED. Adequate math skills for handling money. One year of experience in food service industry. One year of experience with cash registers. Completion of a three-month sanitation course. Education or Equivalent Experience: H.S.
