Electrophysiology Lab Technician
Perform a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist physicians in performing complex and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures to include, but not limited to: Vascular and Interventional Radiology studies, coronary stenting, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, atherectomies, peripheral angioplasty, carotid angiogram, iliac angiogram, renal angiogram, triple lumen catheter placement. ***Looking for placement for Electrophysiology Lab*** REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years of recent EP lab experience. 2+ years experience in electrophysiology. RCIS, RCES, or ARRT certification required. Experience with complex ablations required. Associates in a healthcare related field is a plus but not required. Candidates will be scrubbing in on cases. Unit works with Cardio Lab and Carto software. Typical cases include complex ablations, simple ablations, lock pin procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants. -Perform lab administrative duties and supply inventory. Must have at least 1-2 years of recent cath lab experience. -Two (2) years full-time Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience High School Graduate or G.E.D. -An Associate's Degree or equivalent college hours (62 semester hours) in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science or higher AND one (1) year (full-time or full-time equivalent) in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. OR -Baccalaureate degree in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science AND six (6) months (full-time or full-time equivalent) in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. OR -Graduate of an accredited (by CHEA, USDOE, or CMA) program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. OR -Graduate of a NON-programmatically accredited program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology which has a minimum of one (1) year of specialty training and includes a minimum of 800 clinical hours.
