Mig/Tig Welder
Pay rate will range from $16.50
$23 per hour based on experience. Reports To: Weld Supervisor Responsibilities: Able to complete all periodic machine maintenance, as detailed on the preventive maintenance checklist. Able to accurately interpret the blueprint, all weld symbols, and productions traveler, and can apply this knowledge to the task being performed. Able to properly set-up Mig & Tig welding machines, ensuring that all machine parameters are properly adjusted prior to beginning the welding operation. Able to weld cold rolled, hot rolled, stainless steel, and aluminum assemblies and sub-assemblies according to the print specifications. Can set up and run production within the time limits given on the traveler. Able to point out errors on the traveler, prints, and weld fixtures to their lead. Perform all necessary quality checks according to the sampling plan or inspection requirements. Accurately completes all documentation associated with the job prior to sending the parts to the next operation. Maintain good housekeeping standards. Meeting all attendance requirements, safety requirements, follows Code of Conduct and Shop rules. Performs other tasks as directed by supervisor or management. Physical Requirements: Ability to safely handle parts up to 35 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. May be asked to perform other tasks within reasonable exertion limits to assist other shop personnel. Minimum Position Requirements: Must be thoroughly familiar with various welding techniques and the checking of proper equipment operation. Must be able to adjust Tig & Mig equipment to produce high quality welds on various types of materials. Location: Denison, Texas 75020 Pay: $23
