The Surgical Assistant department requires BLS, NBSTSA, and CSFA certifications. Two years of experience as a surgical technologist first assistant is necessary. AHA certifications must be provider certification, Instructor cards are now accepted. Applicants must complete any additional required certifications outlined in the Unit/JD Description. Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant 715-1545 - 5 days a week with weekday and weekend call requirements. (Call on the weekdays are 4:30pm to 7am, weekends are 7am to 7am. Everyone is expected to pick up a holiday which is also 7am to 7am.) The Surgical Assistant department is inclusive of PAs and CSAs that assist in a wide variety of surgical cases. These cases include, but are not limited to Total Joints, Breast, Plastics, Rhinoplasty, Laparoscopic and Robotic General, Urology, and GYN cases. Unit accepts 1st time travelers. Scrubs: Teal Required BLS, NBSTSA, CSFA. 2 years of experience. Schedule Information
715-1545 - 5 days a week. Weekday and weekend call requirements. Weekday call: 4:30pm to 7am. Weekend call: 7am to 7am. Holiday call: 7am to 7am. Unit Specific Information

I9 Required. Government-Issued Photo ID Required. AHA Provider Certification (Instructor card now acceptable); RQI Acceptable. CL/CSS: Must check UD/JD to verify certifications required. Must complete Stroke CEUs prior to start if not already on file or are expired - To be completed within a week of start. All Stroke CEUs must be renewed annually. Additional stroke and trauma CEUs may be required; please see UD for details. Uploaders: Stroke and Trauma CEUs expire annually, use 1-year expiration date.
