Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by remaining attentive, responding promptly to inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence. Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and credentials, helping to deter unauthorized entry. Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related activities and access control. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed. Maintain accurate logs and records of visitors, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by the site. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and/or emergency personnel as needed. Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
