Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Hockey Coach position is responsible for tasks in the instruction of hockey lessons to support the services and operations of the Hockey Department. Instruction of classes and private lessons, maintaining attendance, testing of skaters and assisting with hockey events. This role will pay an hourly rate of $25.00-$30.00. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until October 10th 2025. About the Venue

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Instruct hockey classes and private lessons. Assists with guests; answering questions and concerns. Administering first aid as needed. Informing and educating guests of the Iceplex policies, procedures and programs. Preparing equipment, facility and environment in a safe and sanitary condition. Must be able to accurately record and maintain records. Performs all work in compliance with established Iceplex safety standards. JOB STANDARDS: Regular and predictable attendance. Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with customers, peers and supervisors. Ability to follow and adhere to instructions set forth by supervisors, policy and procedures. Ability to ice skate and effectively teach stick handling. Ability to lift or move up to fifty-(50) pounds. Ability to communicate with guests of all ages. Ability to teach ice instruction under the USA Hockey Guidelines. Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a current USA Hockey Membership and Safesport Certification Must accept delegated responsibilities willingly. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays, as required. Must be able to maintain a positive self-image for Iceplex. Strengthened by our Differences. United to Make a Difference
