VCA Pets Are People Too, Roswell Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Full-Time Kennel Assistant (Animal Care Assistant) to work at our AAHA-accredited, 3-doctor practice in Roswell, Georgia. Must be a motivated self-starter who is able to take direction and work with minimal supervision. Dependable attendance and transportation is required. Experience in a veterinary or boarding facility is preferred but will train the right person. A positive attitude, strong attention-to-detail, and the ability to multi-task are a must. We've been serving the community for over 30 years! The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Cleaning cages. Feeding and caring for dogs and cats. Walking dogs. Bathing dogs. Doing laundry. Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises. Assisting doctors and technicians when necessary. At least two Sundays per month are mandatory to check on pets in boarding while the hospital is closed.
