We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable RF Engineer with team lead level experience to join our dynamic, fast-paced organization. As an RF Engineer, Senior Staff, you will take on technically complex and rewarding challenges that span multiple engineering domains. You'll lead a geographically distributed team of talented engineers, applying your broad technical expertise and deep proficiency in RF modeling, simulation, and test to drive innovative solutions forward. As a key member of our Analysis and Test Team, you'll have access to cutting-edge modeling software and advanced hardware platforms. Ideal candidates bring a multidisciplinary background, excel in rapidly acquiring new technical skills, and are passionate about improving workflow efficiency through continuous innovation. Basic Qualifications
Skill Requirements: Proven leadership experience managing distributed technical teams Proficiency in MATLAB, including function development, object-oriented programming, and GUI creation Strong background in data processing and analysis in areas such as RF signal processing, data reduction, and statistical data analysis Familiarity with full-wave electromagnetic solvers (e.g., Method of Moments-based tools) Working knowledge of Linux environments for code execution and Bash scripting Understanding of material properties and their impact on computational electromagnetics (CEM) Ability to present data and modeling results in probabilistic terms Security Clearance / Work Authorization: To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected applicant to be a U.S. Citizen Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required for consideration. Primary Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a high-performing RF engineering team across multiple locations Drive technical efforts across modeling, simulation, design, and testing activities Leverage advanced tools to solve RF-centric challenges with creativity and precision Synthesize and present complex data sets for actionable engineering insights Desired Skills
Experience with COTS/GOTS CEM tools such as Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, FEKO, etc. Expertise in antenna design, modeling, and performance analysis Skilled in processing large RF data sets, including filtering and visualization for decision-making Familiarity with RF lab test equipment (e.g., signal generators, spectrum/network analyzers, oscilloscopes) Competence in RF chain analysis and link budget development Background in digital signal processing (DSP), with a focus on RF applications Proficiency with Git and related tools (e.g., GitLab) for collaborative and complex code management workflows Python programming experience, particularly for data analysis, automation, or RF modeling Experience using Systems Tool Kit (STK) for RF scenario modeling, including analysis of sensor coverage, signal availability, and link budgets Other Important Information
