VCA McCormick Ranch Animal Hospital and Emergency Center in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking for a CVT or 3-5 years experienced Surgery Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Schedule: 4/day work week: Tuesday-Friday The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient carewith the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include: Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Prepare surgical patients and maintain sterile technique in the OR Prepare and perform dental prophylaxis Perform post-operative care, treatments, and documentation Collaborate with DVMs and the surgical support team to provide top-tier care Communicate compassionately with clients and ensure patients are treated with kindness, dignity, and professionalism Help with department flow, scheduling, and maintaining equipment and surgical supplies Venipucture Radiology Laboratory work Pharmacy Compassionate Care for our hospitalized patients Why We Need You As a member of the VCA team, your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parentby delivering an outstanding client experienceso they will partner with us for the lifelong care of their companion animals.
